We Go Look service charges $99 for a car inspection. You have recourse against a fee for service firm for a botched inspection.

Never heard of that service but sounds like the way to go! Frankly would not want to "check out" a C7 for someone I did not know, especially as noted, one with a supercharger.

If a Z06 less risk than someone who installed an aftermarket kit or worse, IMO, a GM supercharger on an LT1! Who did the tune, abuse of a motor without the HD items included in an LT4, etc.

I have a friend who was purchasing a car and he used www.lemonsquad.com. I know you said you did not want to use a service and I'm the same way but I have to tell you this place was VERY thorough. He came back with 100 pictures of the car from every angle including the interior. He used a paint meter on all the panels to check for paint work. He checked the temperature of the air coming out of all the vents. He checked for the car having the manual, keys, etc. Checked for any signs of scratches etc. If you want, PM me and I will send you the report he got for the car so you can see what it was like.
