Default Period Correct License Plate

Might anyone have a 1967 - 1968 (Black w/White digits) FL license plate they're not using?

Thank you

You say you're looking for a FL plate - are you in Central FL or Jax area?

If so, you should come to the Daytona Turkey Run at Thanksgiving and you'll find many available to choose from!!

Or, I just took a look on eBay for (did a search for "vintage license plates florida") and found a bunch. I didn't look through very many of listings, but there are a lot for you to choose from.

Here's one for $33:

And here's one that's white with black digits for $35 - but it's a bit funky looking with that rust. Like I said, I didn't look through all listings, so there may be more like that:

^ ^ ^ Thanks. I just checked eBay and found one that looks pretty good. Funny thing though, I did a search on eBay and didn't come up with too much. Go figure.

*EDIT*
Just ordered one off eBay.

I had one of those on my '69 when I lived there. It's a nice touch.

GA also allows YOM plates.

I have a FL YOM plate on my '66 and since NY allows it also, I had a set on it when I lived there. You're right about it being a nice touch. I prefer it over a personalized plate.

Most definitely.

In case you weren't aware, vehicles were registered by weight or type back then in FL, hence the letter designation. The first two letters correspond to the county.

Interesting site below with info:

Yes, that is a great site for license plate info. I found out that weight designations on the plates don't matter when registering the car now.
