We're doing the dragon run again this fall. Just imagine being on a cruise from Tennessee to North Carolina Via US129 (the tail of the dragon) on a beautiful fall day. This is likely the last time I'll be leading this run as I'm getting a bit old to set this up. The current record is over 400 Vettes making the run.
Next spring EXPO will be held in Pigeon Forge Tennessee at a new venue where there is plenty of parking and lots of options for restaurants and motels.
Come join us.

The colors are already changing. We just did the Cherohala Skyway via the Foothills Pkwy in our Trans Am last week. Have fun!!
**Note: A Phillips 66 station in Townsend, TN has 93 'no ethanol' gas for $3.19 a gallon. It's on the main drag.

Also try to find the photographer that takes this angle photo. We bought several of his. Sorry, forgot which company he was with but the signs are always up. Photos like this one that we took last year.

Headed up from the west coast of Fla. with a couple other vettes. Don't know if we will make the dragon run but going to the Expo and checking out some of the colors of fall and hopefully great weather where there are no hurricanes.

Can't imagine anything more frustrating than stuck in a long slow moving line of traffic.

Just did Cherohala for the first time last Sunday! Wish I had started earlier since I didn't get a chance to see all of it. I'm definitely considering The Dragon tomorrrow since I've never done it in the car. I'll decide in the morning:-) Anybody from this area going?

Yes. I went too! I got there about 20 minutes before departure! So I didn't have time to walk around any. It was good until we got behind a big farm implement a few miles out and then a little traffic after that. It was fun though with us running hard with a police escort
I'm trying now to figure out all the photographers. I know 129photos, 129Slayer, Killboy, and Moonshine. I've seen a few that I like but I want to compare all of them since they were at different places on the Dragon.
