The new venue is much nicer than the old one. There is free parking for everyone. More vendors are attending, and yesterday's crowd was very good. There may never be an auction again, as the licensing for the new location has simply been too big of hassle.
The sales corral and vendor area is still there and the inside car show was much larger than in the past few years. The park and show, along with the road tour are still being held. Reports that I heard is that the road tour last night was outstanding (probably because I stepped back for being the planner and leader because of health reasons) LOL

Really enjoyed the show today. There were tons of people there. Many cars for sale. Much better than years past. Inside was great. Only thing missing was the auction but I think it was a great success even without it.

I had a great time today! The LeConte Center is a much better location and venue for the Expo. I stayed at the Black Fox Lodge right behind the center and the accommodations were outstanding. Good turnout and I enjoyed the fellowship time with my fellow Vette enthusiasts. The new location was also better for getting to places to eat. I'll definitely be back again. Much better than the Sevierville Convention location.

Wife and I are newbies to TN (less than 3 years) so decided to drive over to see the show and visit Pigeon Forge. Had no idea that city was so huge! Bumper to bumper traffic for miles on both sides. Show was pretty good. Tons of Corvette eye candy to look at as well as other nice cars. Especially loved the red Camaro.
When we were walking back to our car noticed a group of about a dozen people standing around. First though was someone hit our car. Turns out the Vet crowd was impressed by the SS and I spent the next 20 minutes answering questions about it. Only complaint was I40 was bottle necked for about 4-5 miles each direction just east of Knoxville.

Good to see a couple of good reviews of the show. Hopefully next year the weather will be warmer later in the month. Thanks for sharing the pics Snowwolfe.

I agree with the others who said this is better than the venue in Sevierville. I will keep going back if its at the current venue. Nicer places to park if you don't drive the vette which I didn't. Enjoyed the cars inside as well some really nice rides in there. Maybe when the vendors who haven't came for awhile hear about the new venue maybe they will return.

I also went over to the show on Saturday. It was good, but only stayed for about an hour. I agree that the weather was a little too cool and that is what you would expect for this time of year. It would have been nice to see more vendors, especially outside. I would have loved to see more of a flea market atmosphere of parts and car stuff. I would have bought a transparent top but could not find one anywhere.

It was fun but I wouldn't go for the weekend just for the show, but there is much more to do there for a weekend. There are so many great drives on mountain roads in the area, you just may want to avoid the roads in the GSMNP. It can look like 285 in Atlanta during rush hour at times. I grew up not far from Pigeon Forge and my wife is from there, so I have been going there for probably 40 years. As has been said, the traffic can be a nightmare, you just need to look at Google maps and figure out the back roads and you will be ok. Just don't tell anyone else, enough people are figuring that out.

I agree the new venue is great and a much better location than in Sevierville. I would love to see this show continue to grow and I expect to be back next year.

Having not been to previous shows I have nothing to compare it too but I enjoyed this show. It was a bit cool but I would rather have that than rain. Inside was nice but the park and show lot was my favorite.
