Is this event still going strong? Went there often many years ago when there were more interesting events. Like midnight rides, seminars, and real autocross. But these are no more. Many people still go? Thinking about it for this year.

I am going with a few other corvettes in our group. Never been but one couple has..
We have gone numerous times, Our club goes every year and is the most popular of the year for an over night event. The last email I received there is excess of 25+ cars signed up and numerous others planning on just one of the days?
Eureka Springs is a unique area, with great/scenic roads to drive, eclectic places to eat and unusual stores to visit. Then there is the people watching...
As far as the event, like most, it is what you put into it. The more you see and do, the more there is to offer. The event is the catalyst to go, but venture out, there is many things to see and do.
One thing we recommend and every time we take people who have never been there before, We all take the "trolley tour".http://www.eurekatrolley.org/tram_tours.htm It is fantastic, the tour guides are exceptional and most have lived there all their lives. So every tour is a little different depending on what questions people ask along the way. You will not be disappointed.
Went last year, had a blast seeing the cars and traveling the roads and especially visiting the civil war battle site "Pea Ridge". Stayed in Rogers, ARK. Nice hotel and fun morning drive to event.
