I'm having a 2nd home currently built just north of there so frequent the area often. Here are a few that might be of interest. Sarasota one might be a little far, Venice isn't to bad of a drive but the Punta Gorda one is right up Hwy 75. But you can do 80mph(70 is the actual speed limit) just about the entire way on 75 so even a 60-70min drive can be somewhat reasonable. Might be something going on in Ft. Meyers which would be the closest to you.
