Welcome to the area. I live in Fleming Island. Don't take your baby to anyone other than Garber Chevy in Green Cove Springs. See Corey McAninch. I ordered my '15 from Coggin. They AND Nimnicht are clueless. Garber now has two Corvette specialist. The lead guy, Kenny is super sharp. Feel free to send me a message if you would like to discuss more. ...or just go for a ride

Yikes! Coggin at the Avenues will be doing my courtesy delivery inspection in September. They have 29 C7s on their lots so figured they must do a lot of work on them. Will have to see how that inspection goes....

Welcome to the area. Fellow Z06 owner here, West of the airport near 301 between Baldwin and Callahan. I have heard a couple of good recommendations for Garber, but I figured I'd let Nimnicht handle my 500 mile oil change since Garber is about an hour away from me. Don't use Riverside, they are under State investigation for some shady practices.

I wouldn't sweat that really. The service dept doesn't have to be that skilled to do the delivery. I just recommended going elsewhere for service. You're not married to them. I started with Coggin's service since the put my order in, but they always seemed to be overwhelmed with the workload. When I brought mine in for major warranty issues back when my transmission first started having problems, they were clueless and sent me on my way. Another local forum member recommended Garber. They can be trusted. Heck, my transmission has been replaced twice. Most owners would cringe at the thought of having that much taken apart with fear of something else going wrong. Each time the work was flawless! If there was ONE thing in the negative column, it would be you sometimes have to call to get a status from the adviser Corey. Other than that, they're super courteous and eager to please.

Sure, Coggin at the Avenues sells more than the other dealers in the region, but they can't keep up with service - or devote quality time to properly diagnose a problem.

Congrats by the way. You should be OK for delivery at Coggin, I don't think I would go there for service.

Thanks for the advice. Probably do any non warranty related maintenance at home. Garber will be first on the list to call if there are issues or questions.

Keith is the Vette tech @ Autonation West Colonial, Orlando. I look forward to the hour and 20 minutes drive to have my free oil changes done on my '17 GS.
Just another reason to put on some miles.

Well, NImnicht used to sponsor our club. They decided to NOT sponsor us when we were 30 days away from our annual car show. We donate all of the money we make from the show to the Safe harbor home for boys. They made an unwise choice. I will NEVER endorse their organization for anything, ever. The show is September 8, 2018; we were notified of non-support August 6th via email.

My recommendation? Get any dealer but NIMNICHT.

We changed the location and we're going to do the show ourselves! If you are in Jacksonville or close, come to our show! FORM: --> http://www.jaxvette.com/flyers/2018_..._show_form.pdf

There’s another Corvette club in the Jax area hosted by Coggin at the Avenues. My build should be completed early to mid September. Will put on my calendar to come to the show. David

Hey Elmer- I'm thinking about entering. May see you there.
@ IAVTYWU - Sorry about jumping in your thread. I still recommend Keith at Autonation West Colonial, Orlando.
