I and possibly some others are planning on going to test and tune next Wednesday the 30th at Roxboro dragway. http://www.roxboromotorsports.com/
Would anybody else like to come? Roxboro is about 40 minutes north of Raleigh I believe, looked like a brand new track on the website. It will be my first time to a track so it will be a new experience for me......
Bring your '86 and we'll go head to head - '86 to '86, 4+3 to 4+3! :boxing I'll try to unfry my clutch... I'll have to warn you though, I know nothing about drag racing.
Excellent, I hope you guys can give me some tips before I make my first pass, I'm gonna be clueless on the whole deal. I'll post the deffinate details on what time and all sometime Tuesday. I'll prob. get there at about 6:30 or so if that helps.
a little too far for me to head out on a wed. my clutch is just about gone now too, same with the tires.
we should set up a fayetville day, or maybe some parking lot gudge matches at the dyno day!!
 Heyll ya I'm skeeered Steve! I went plum up to 88mph last time at one of those looong tracks and got real nervous  :cry The REAL reason is it just takes me too long to calm down enough to drive home after a wild ride like that. Well, that and I'd just get my azz druuuuged :)
But if y'all wanna go out on 40 and set the cruz on 60 for 3 or 4 miles...now that's intense drivn :jester

I cannot make it on Wed but I am emailing with Steve at Rockingham for Nov 9th. Stay tuned to this forum for updates soon. We hope to have a large showing of Vettes, Fbodies, and anything else that will run.......
I'll do that, I'm still planning on being at Roxboro, I should make it there by 6:30-7 and I'll probably have to leave around 9 because of papers that are due Thursday. See y'all there.
ohhh, I just noticed this thread... yeah I plan to go aswell.. if its NOT raining.... anyone want to meet to cruise there? or should I just drive there?
ok, well I have no idea where I am going, but thats what maps are for. I have printed the directions and ready to roll tomorrow. It seems that it would be a fairly dry day tomorrow evening.
So Brian, are you going? If so, lets meet up at char grill 57 (same place) at 4pm? Things starts at 6 in Roxboro.
Doh! I just remembered that I have other things scheduled for tomorrow evening. Completely forgot about it. Void all my posts above. However, Brian you planning to attend Fayetteville test and tune on Thursday? I am sure I am heading out there if weather permits, and I am sure weather will permit.
I think Chris is rolling on Thursday as well, as few others I think.
Hmmm. I'm going out of town early Friday, and I'm planning to take the z, and need to do a few things to her on Thursday eve. I don't really want to take her out and then have to clean it again when I get home. How about I just ride along with you :D
