Hello everyone,

I live in Florida, commuting relatively frequently between Tallahassee and St. Petersburg.

I am mechanically competent, but I don't have a lot of experience wrenching on cars. Is there someone nearby me that would like to teach me some basics?

Namely, I want to learn to:
  • Change oil & filter
  • Replace brake pads & rotors, and bleed the system
Thank you so much!

Not being a smart *** but YouTube can help you out with those two tasks.

Oil/filter change you need one hand and a wrench for the oil pan plug. Good luck!

Also check the How to section on the Forum. It's pretty helpful. Good luck
