I'm near Senoia and wanted to know what's available. I'm looking for information on the full gamut of stuff a 'vette owner might want: service, detailing, tint, alignment, clubs, someplace to stretch out the cars legs, etc, etc.
In Fayetteville and wondering the same. Will subscribe just in case someone chimes in. There used to be Corvette Country in Fayetteville but the owner passed away if I understand correctly.
Southside seems to be left out on the Corvette maintenance front. Real business opportunity for someone.

South side seems to be left out on the everything front. Unless there are improvements I'm going to move when the kids move out for good, probably 4-6 years from now. I'm in unincorporated Fayetteville, but when I tell anybody they get the wrong impression . I'm way closer to downtown Senoia than Fayetteville.

Like you I'm in unincorporated Fayetteville. Like you already decided we are out when son graduates in 3 years.
I do believe this part of the Southside is appreciating but I still want something less congested. This area was very quiet when we moved here a decade ago but not anymore and with the studios now here development has taken off.
I have found a local garage that has serviced little things on my car like the radiator and window regulator but I've had to go to the Northside to get an alignment and harmonic balancer replacement. MTI Racing did an engine build for me.
I called corvette country last week and the said they are doing work on vets but I was looking to add Bluetooth too my radio, which they didn't do. also in Fayetteville and yes after 11 years here it has gotten crowded.
Is this the founder? I stopped in years ago, around 2011 maybe, cause I still had my C4 and talked to someone who said the owner was sick. Went back a year or two later just to see what was going on and they said he had passed and they were selling off everything. I think a relative was taking care of some projects that were not finished.
I'm going to go by there maybe this Friday and see what's up. Hope I'm wrong cause it would be good for a Vette shop to be operating at full steam on the southside.
Yes Ben is the owner and founder, His brother Ralph was the main mechanic and did in fact pass away a few years back. I am and have been very close with the family for over 25 years his son John and I are best friends. I know Ben still owns the business and has had it for sale for some time now.
I bet Ben would prefer I not write him off, hahaha. Good to hear. How extensive is their work now? I know whoever it was I was talking to showed me a couple of midyears they had done a C4 LT4 conversion on. He also showed me some magazine articles done on Corvette Country. That one 64 I think it was looked sharp.
There are a few things I would like done to my C6 if they will do them. I noticed an earlier post saying they didn't mess with bluetooth conversion.
John did all the conversions, They were class a jobs in the $200k range unfortunately he no longer works for his dad. I'm not to sure they do any C5 up work now. I'm not even sure they have a certified Corvette mechanic anymore. Ben has to be in his 70s now and ready to sell and retire. I worked for them part time for about 20 years from 90 to 2010. This one of the mid years John built.
Glad to hear Corvette Country is still in business. I think I will.drop in and see what's going on there.
I drive past their shop all the time, pretty sure it's gone. Hard to tell really, the Corvette sign has gone to **** with missing letters and there's a crappy looking awning that says McMurry Motors (or something close). Looked like there were corvettes inside but I didn't stop.

Hi Guys, Bill Armstrong here from MTI Racing. I know you think we're on the "other side of the world" up here in Marietta, but we have guys that bring in their cars from all over the Southeast, and we build engines for people all over the US, and recently, Australia. So we must be worth the trip. Maintaining, racing, upgrading Corvettes since 1993. Come see us at Caffeine and Octane the first Sunday morning of November at Perimeter Mall. 8:00 am til 11:00 am.
I'm trying to get Crazy Cowboy to visit to install his sound deadening package. Need at least 3 people to make it worth his while, post here or in his thread if you're in the Atlanta area and interested. I'll attach his thread so you can see what he offers: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...installed.html
