Richmond, VA: Something hit windshield.....
....and now it appears I have a nick which looks like it might be cracked through. Not sure when it happened. Hoping I can get it fixed without replacing the windshield. Any suggestions on who I should take the Vette to for repair?

Evy, Sorry to hear of your woe's... Any reputable glass shop can make that repair for you. I had a deep chip in my GTA and it was filled and polished, can't really tell now :)
...just get to it before moisture and cold splits the glass...been there too :(

Not sure how they'll do on the Vette, but I used Binswanger over by Innsbrook a few years back for the Firebird and they did a fantastic job. I'm assuming they are still there. It's in that shopping center with the Texaco and the Firestone across from the 2 Capital One buildings on Broad Street.

Thanks for the support, I feel better now that it sounds like they should be able to repair it without replacement. Thanks for the heads up Tim, Binswanger sounds like it is really close to where I work so I will give them a call tomorrow.
