Default C8 section FL get together.

An idea about a get together of guys who frequent this section was floated in another thread today which is great. Lets hear from everyone interested in this idea. The possibility of meeting at the new, soon to be opening Ferrari dealer in North Naples on rt. 41 was suggested. I live nearby and can get a date for their opening when I go past their tomorrow and report back. They were getting the landscaping configured the other day and it looked as if it will be open soon.

I'm down. Do they have an address posted yet, so we can look at the route? We also have Lambo Sarasota and Ferrari Tampa Bay for spots. I'm friends with everyone at Ferrari Tampa and they are very good about letting you test drive Punky.

Hell, if you can bring that I may as well bring my Gen IV Camaro. J/K We Murican made fellers can park besides one another.

As far as car guys are concerned I think anyone who appreciates cars can find something cool or what I like to say, alluring, about any car.

Tampa or Orlando would be great for those of us in the more central part of the state. Plus you'll draw from the northern part too. Naples is too far south for many of us.
What about Stingray Chevrolet or the Chevy Dealer Don Mealy in Clairmont?

Is there a Twin Peaks in Tampa? Asking for a friend who is a fan of headlights and rear bumpers.

Stingray Chevy has their Corvette show coming up in late October, looks like October 24, they usually get a pretty good showing of Corvettes

Not sure how welcome Stingray would be for those of us who have a Corvette but also an exotic?

Seem like it might be like crashing a party those of us with an exotic to show up at a Corvette event.

Love to see if we could put together an event for Exotic and Corvette enthusiasts where all are welcome..

Be cool if CF membCFs could agree on a time and place .

I could do invite on Ferrari Chat once the time and date were established.

I think the more cool cars we could get together would be great.

That does not have to be limited to just exotic or Corvette but pretty much any sports car regardless of brand or cost..

Only criteria should be its a cool car in my opinion.

I like to bring my 458 and my Callaway sc757 and my C8 HTC.

Have 2 adult sons who are car guys so bringing all 3 is no problem.

Sounds like there interest and it be great to meet some of the CF members in person.

The owner of Stingray Chevy has quite the exotic and Porsche collection of his own, he might not mind🤣, that being said I’m Corvette-less right now myself so would have to show up in my Audi R8 for the time being. There is an active group of Exotic owners in the Sarasota/Tampa area, sure you could get a big turn out. Exotic Brunch is in Valrico this Sunday put on by Lotus owners of Tampa, Cars and Pizza is put on by a Local Ferrari owner, held in Valrico last Sunday of the month. Reeves just started back to their Cars and Coffee this past Saturday for the first time in 6 mo this.

As others said any car that's cool is welcome in my book.

I'm up for anything. It would just be nice to get out.

We just have to set a time and place. There is a new brewery called Florida Avenue Brewery off 56 near the i75 exit. They had ample parking and great food and selection. I wonder If we cold set up something at Ferrari Tampa, then all leave there and cruise 35min to the brewery for a fun drive. It could be pretty fun with 20+ cars!

Edit: I vote we wait until the weather and humidity cools off some more…plus it give more time to invite and plan. I can certainly reach out to Ferrari Tampa and make a Facebook event like "sports car meetup and cruise" or something along those lines.
