welder recommendation
Anyone know a welder that could weld a hole in a cast aluminum valve cover? I'm in St Augustine FL and will travel from Daytona to Jacksonville. Further for the right guy.
Friend gave me the valve covers and for unknown reason someone drilled a hole in one of them.

I was in Orange Park last week at Tuners Inc and next door is a speed shop so I dropped in. Talked to a guy named Chris and saw his work - super nice guy, lot'sa big engines, fabricating, turbos, etc. He said he does all TIG and I saw some of his work and it all looked above average to really good. I'd imagine he can knock out what you need. I'm not sure but I think it is Hurricane Performance and it was Chris I talked to. This might be the number 904-579-4566 but I'm not sure. They looked busy so you might have to try several times. Hope that helps. Tom
