Knoxville Dragway, www.knoxdragway.com, has been sold. It is now closed. The new owner is a former pro drag racer, and has a small crew there renovating. He says that it should reopen mid February. It will have new entryway, tower, restrooms, grandstands, and paved parking area. Still 1/8th of a mile.
Red90sixspeed and I went there this past Saturday hoping to test his new Corvette. No luck. However, since we missed the Dragon run, I put him to good use welding a panel on my wife's 65 Mustang... :cheers:
