Default Corvette expo ‘22 in Pigeon Forge

Where is everybody staying? I haven’t booked a room yet and I’m kind of waiting to see how the weather is going to be before I do. Anybody or any groups leaving from Atlanta/Athens/Gainesville GA areas on Friday?

I'll be there! But I'm leaving from KY. I always stay at the Park Tower Inn. It's convenient to the Strip and LeConte Center and cheaper than a lot of the options. I'd recommend booking through one of the free cancellation sites - the earlier the better. Then you can cancel if the weather will be crap. Prices in the area keep going up, up, up.

Our club ( Roanoke Valley Corvette Club) will be going. Have 13 signed up for our Caravan. Leaving from Bracey, Va ( I-85) on Thursday morning. Stopping at rest area at MM139 around 10:30am to pickup a few more folks. We will be staying at the Quality Inn.
If anyone wants to run with us you are welcome. Just let me know you are coming. fredough@aol.com. Fred

When is this show? I'm relocating to Tennessee within the next 2-3 months. Currently in Arizona. I've heard this is a must do show.

Where in Tennessee? Lewislgz06 is in Cunningham. I'm not going to make it out, because my car is not going to be ready in time. Definitely going to Corvettes at Carlyle in August, I've already made my reservation(s).

Going to be around the Nashville area. Probably a bit north and east. Grandkids are there so we thought it would be nice to be closer to them while they growing up.

The much-too-early-to-tell weather forecast, which will change twelve times before then, says partly sunny skies for the Expo haha.

The Pigeon Forge hotel thieves keep raising their prices. We used to enjoy the Rod Run but the rates have become just stupid. May drive up for the day but the hotels will not be getting any more of my money.

Yeah, it's getting back. And the bro trucks are taking over Rod Run as well. I got my room for the Expo for $140 but I booked it last summer. The rates go crazy high as you get closer.

I used to do the Rod Run and Shades of the Past but I stopped going because of the hotel prices.

Going if the weather holds. I’m only about 1 1/2 hr from there so we just make it a day trip. I’m not going to pay $200 a night for a room. I’ll need that for gas money.FJB!!!

I used to get a room up there to hang out, but the rates for one night isn't worth it.
