I have State Farm it's 83 a month for my GS. A broker I'm using for home insurance said she couldn't find anyone that was close in price. That's with me being a renter. They hit you with a higher amount my house will be finished in a month and my rates will go lower. I pay 263 a month for 3 cars one is for my 18 year old daughter.
Oh I forgot to add I have the drive safe and save app so if you won't use it you will definitely pay more.

I’m not focused on the best price I prefer the best value.
- It is garaged
- Driven a few thousand miles a year on beautiful days
- only used as a toy
- I have a daily driver
- I want agreed coverage
Considering this which company is preferred.
Thanks!

^ The move appears to have killed the thread instead of enhancing it.
I don’t think being in Florida was the determining factor in gathering information and personal experience as some insurance companies Grundy, NCM, Hagerty and others are national. (I put Florida in the title in case it mattered to some).

I currently use State Farm, got a nice price on a 3 car policy.

I have Amica for the Vette, my truck and homeowners. I had them in Illinois before I moved to Florida 8 years ago. I have always been happy with them and they are rated pretty high with JD Powers and Consumer Reports.

I had NCM for years and recently switched to be on my wife's policy as a second vehicle and got better coverage at almost 1/2 the price. No mileage restrictions, not that it was ever an issue, I stayed below their 6K restriction. Wife wanted a 1-year policy so she had/has Travelers ins.

I use Haggerty 552 a year on my 2006 Z06. I have my own set Value at 40k so god forbid anything happened so I will not get some BS value most insurance want to give.

American Collectors Insurance. Changed from NCM
when they would not take my declared value.
Good luck

When did Amica start writing homeowners in Florida? I checked their website last month and their auto rates were crazy high and no homeowners were offered in Florida.

I guess I am grandfathered in for now. When I moved my mom down here last summer, I called and they said they were no longer writing policies on homes built before 2001 in Florida. They must have stopped completely. Luckily, mine just renewed and the rate didn't increase much. I will probably need to start looking for new insurance at some point.
