They have finally got the Corvette priced out of the blue collar market. Sad.

was a new corvette ever really affordable for the blue collar guy ?? I don’t know or claim to know but surely someone here can figure it out including inflation. I’m 47 and finally will have a new one. They’ve always been kinda $$ to me anyways. Mine is at stays 3300 so I won’t get the price hike

Yes! Those of us in a skilled craft could afford a new Vette. As an industrial electrician I've bought 9 new Vettes over my Lifetime.

Same here. Finally got a new one after 27 of them being used. Could have bought new after VN tour was done w/money tucked away but still bought usd, and strayed with a '67 GT-500. Gotta do it cause I'm used to it. Old saying.

Not really. It's all about the financing options, which may be a bit pricey for a while; but, if you can afford the payment after your trade-in, you can afford the car. The 2300.00 increase amortized over 60 or 72 months is not much.

All considered, the price is really reasonable compared to other typical vehicles seen around. Corvettes just look like a 100K plus super-car. I guess you can do the optioned up Z and get up there.

It's official as of 15 July 2022: Corvette (Z06) IS a 100K + super-car.

$106,395 for entry level Z06 matter of fact.
