I spoke to Robert Smith today(the manager of Shells restaurant at the Tower Shops), and he is planning another Corvette get together at his restaurant on Saturday, January 18th between 12 noon and 4 PM. He held one about 4 or 5 months ago. About 40 Corvettes were there and it was a nice time. Free appitizers, nice cars, good people, etc.
If anyone is interested in attending, he asked to call him at the restaurant at 954-473-2044 to RSVP. He would like an approximate headcount, since he is going to try to arrange parking by years.

I will state my comments all in one reply as opposed to the person above me.
That's how he secretly builds up his posts, but don't tell anyone.
That sounds nice... it was fun last time. I was thinking about going to Art Deco Weekend down in Miami Beach, but this sounds better.
I will be calling Robert to reply. Hey Mark... Will you be going to the club meeting this Wednesday at Phil Smith Chevy ?? I am set to go with Luis and his wife. Hope to see you there.

Hah !! A related post... I'm taking tricks out of Olivier's book !
Mark.... Do most of the members drive their Vettes to the meeting or take their beaters ?? I don't want to stand out one way or the other.

Thanks Alan. I'll try to figure out a way to beat the traffic, and go if possible.
Just finished "re-converting" the car to street trim after the track day at Homestead. Many people say that they can do it in a couple of hours, but it always takes me longer. :conehead
The track day went great. Nothing like hearing the Z06's song at 6500 RPM all day long! I learned a lot and had a bunch of fun. I just can't say enough about how well this rocketship runs, handles and brakes. That's my favorite part about the Z06. While others are "talking the talk" it's "walking the walk" in stock form and with no problems. :flag
