I am trying to figure out my schedule so I can make it this year. I haven’t been there in a few years and would like to take a closer look at some C8’s and maybe look for some parts. Anyone going should pay attention to the roads. The recent snow and rain has messed up some of the interstates around Knoxville.
I plan to be there. I haven't missed many EXPOs since this show has always been near where I live.
Yes, I remember when it was Corvettes only and the place(s) were packed with Vettes and parts!
I'll be there on Friday, then doing the Smoky mountain Drives Dragon Rally on Saturday ( Dragon Rally has no connection to the Expo totally different event).

Incorrect. Driving the Dragon is organized by the Expo. Line up and start is from the Expo parking lot. Police escort is provided until the procession reaches the city limit.

Driving The Dragon is organized by the Expo, It's basically a slow parade down theTail of the Dragon behind a police car.
I'm going on the Dragon Rally. Organized by Smoky Mountain Drives. Driving the Dragon and The Dragon Rally are TWO different event by two different groups.
The "Dragon Rally" (which I'm going on) is put on my smoky mountain drives (https://www.smokymountaindrives.com) it is a monthly event that goes on once a month from March-November. The Dragon Rally is open to ALL cars. I've been on over 20 Dragon Rallies.

I love Corvette Expo but the newest location is a pain. Traffic was horrible and the parking was a cluster..... Their Sevierville location was easier access and the parking was dedicated to the show attendees, especially if you drove your Corvette.

I have been saying this for some time now. I never missed the show when it was in Knoxville. In fact my parents took me to my very first Corvette Expo in 1985. The show used to be a can't miss event. It lost some of its luster when it moved to Sevierville; however, it was still a good show. The Le Conte Center is not a great venue for a car show. The parking is horrendous. My wife and I were blocked in back in 2022 as the event triple parked Corvettes where you could barely open your doors. Given the insane traffic of Pigeon Forge, poor venue parking, and not being a 100% Corvette Show, I don't think I will attend, though it is only 40 miles away.
Parking was terrible! I have been to every Expo since 1978, and there have been good years and bad. This year we pulled into the back lot ticket booth area at 10:00 AM, waited a few minutes to drive thru because there was a traffic jam in the parking lot. Now, the guys parking the cars were doing a great job shuffling them around but the parking lot was just to small .We got one of the last spots along the fence…10:30 the back lot was full.
Byron and Ronnie did a great job all these years with the Expo . My advice to the new owners…don’t line up 15 porta potty’s right next to the only corn dog stand! Haha

It was a great show back in the 80’s, now it just okay.
Prices may change since Byron & Ronnie Cooper have sold the event to Greg Harris and Steve Jenkins.
I'm hoping that it will go back to a Corvette only event.

...And change locations. Move it back to Chilhowee or anywhere but the LeConte Center. I got there early and had to park in the north 40. Hard to get in and out of the parking area (way too many cars on top of each other). I still had a good time seeing friends I haven't seen since last year. The fellowship is worth the drama.
