I thought about going up for it, did yall get decent speeds or did you get stuck behind bubbas puttering through turns at 10mph?

. I recommend that road to everyone, it's fun even if you're going under 40mph. Was thinking of going again with the Vette.

Only a couple times over the three days we got stuck, but never for very long. For the most part people pulled over and let the entire group go by. I was pleasantly surprised by how many people did pull over for us.

I imagine with 80 vettes there were various levels or driver confidence so good chunk got stuck behind someone slow/timid and took turns at 15mph.
In all honest would this have been more fun with a smaller group?

EDIT: The road is nicely laid out. The 35MPH speed limit is ridiculous, but whatever.
Cherohala Skyway was much "free'r...."

Just happened by the meet point at Harbor Freight. Looked like a lot more than 80 cars (lots of really nice Vettes!), mostly from Illinois. Glad to have UT / UGA tickets, not going to be a good weekend for driving.

Yes lol. I live right by it, the amount of clubs that come through is staggering. When they do, it really becomes a bottleneck. Especially when the harley guys come through. I can ride a pedal bike through there faster than those guys go.
