There cheap enough to own one try Harbor Fright, they always have deals, and use it on other cars!

I love Harbor Freight, but they don't sell the GM Tech 2 or even the Chinese clones.
If you're looking to spend a few hundred bucks on a decent bi-directional scanner, I would look at Autel, or even Launch. I have a Tech 2 and a Launch X431. However, I don't know of a good scanner that will do what op is looking to do. Though, I certainly could be wrong. @C5 Diag , do you know of a scanner op can buy other than a Tech 2 to program out the F55 suspensions?

I'd be happy to help. I'm in Tampa, a couple of hours north of you.

I've done some F45 deletes with my Autel...any aftermarket factory level scan tool should be able to do it !!
