(SMC) Mod day update......
Well Gang,
I am glad to report that all the hard work has paid off.
With a helping hand from a professional, The Beast lives. The motor runs fine. Sounds good too. All the straining and grunting was not in vain. Again many thanks for the effort on everyones part..... :yesnod:
As for those curious, I will have to go back to Valve adjustment school. Tight valves were the culprit. With a quick turn of the wrench and slight adjustment, the motor fired like a champ.........Next time, I will get some more sleep before adjusting valves. :banghead: :banghead:
