IT WAS GREAT :D:D:D

Had an awesome day of racing with 27 racers (and only one whiner :jester), and this only our 5th time out as a Series :D

We had all our sponsors in place and the tophies were free flowing this time :D AND the t-shirts came in :D

Overall winner was John Simon, Vice Presdient of the Nature Coast Corvette Club and hopefully he'll be bringing some of the local breathern down with him next month :D :cheers:....congrats John!!!! :cheers:

2nd place, for the 2nd month in a row, and current points leader, goes to our very own 16Again, Bob :D:D:D :cheers:.....he didn't get his revenge against Emily :reddevil but he's now the points leader :D :cheers:

3rd place and Best MPH went to Keith Valone of Valone Racing and CorvetteConnections of Lee County :D :cheers:....also the guy who built my new 3.73 gears :D :reddevil....thanks man :D!!!!

My95, Ken, took home the trohpy for Best Package (lowest RT and closest to Dial-In, combined) :D:D:D :cheers:.....although I beat him in the 1/4 finals :D :reddevil

Lawman (Zolton) took Best RT with a .508 :eek: WOW :D :cheers:

And yours truly made it to the semi finals, even with the bad eye, but red lighted and came in 4th (out of 27 cars) :D.....but I'll take the points ;) :D

He was on the return side coming back following a drtagster.......the dragster stopped and backed into him......effed up his hood and fascia

 

What a fun day.. :D ..I decided to "save" my car and stop after the first round... :rolleyes: ...yeah, right...Stan kicked my butt real good..nice run, Stan...a big :cheers: to all the guys and the Lewis family...a special :thumbs: to Mark for getting that far with a bad eye and those John Daly shades.. :lol: and to Ken who has now won low R/T and best package in his first two events ever, not to mention going a lot of rounds... :hurray: lastly to Bob who is just a damn tough bracket racer and deserves the top spot.....I'm already thinking about next month..let's see..put car in D not OD, ASR off not on...leave on third yellow not second... :lolg:

no idea, i asked one of the track guys before I left....all he knew was he was taken to the hospital :(
