Corvette Challenge weather update
It's raining like a **** here in Sarasota, 12:55am. I'm getting up at 0600 and I'll post what it looks like outside (besides being dark out :jester )

Thunder and lightening and pouring here too...I will be driving over anyway..seen this before..it clears out, we race and folks say...it was raining where I live so I didn't come...I figure worst case I drove a ways to have breakfast at the cracker barrel with some buddies... :thumbs: :D

I just checked the radar for the last time before I pack up and leave..looks like the trailing edge of this giant storm will pass Bradenton around 5:30 am and continue east...there is no rain showing after that...the rest of the day shows the humidity DROPPING every hour from 9 am on..see y'all soon .. :D :D :D

I figured that.......I know at least 3 people started that way, but weather.com says its still rain/lightning.......and nobody is answering at the track :(

Just looked out the front door (facing East) and the rain has let up but still coming down lightly, nothing but clouds above and plenty of thunder coming from the West.
Weather forecasters suck, the only job you can't get fired from by being wrong most of the time.

OK the rain has stopped in SRQ for the moment, according to the news just now it's moving to the SouthEast and should be cloudy in the morning and possibly clear up in the afternoon.
