Myself and possibly another ratpacker or two are headed down to Anderson SC. this weekend to chew up some tires, and have a little fun. This is a great event at a great location, and run very well by the hosting clubs. 14 runs each day! I see a lot of you guys and gals are into autocrossing. These are fantastic events running against all Corvettes. I would really like to meet some of ya'll from that area, I myself am from Corryton, at the base of House Mountain, just outside of Knoxville. Hope to see some of you there.
That's a little extreme to lower some weight in your vette isn't it!?
We were just going to take our back seats out! :lolg:
14 runs in a day sounds great!
But we already have too many events this weekend (Cruise Night Saturday, ETCC Car Show Sunday, Brian's (vettes rule) graduation). I have my daughter's graduation in Shreveport.
We're just warming up to autocrossing some. I think most of us worry about driving ours back home afterwards and going out of town for such an event may keep us from doing this.
However, keep us in mind when you come up with other events (PS we're crusing to Greenville May 31 for fun...).
Extreme yes, but it worked. Not really, I spent the winter doing numerous mods and didn't get it back together before our first local event. I've since finished it and trailer it to the events. I rescued the car from going to the boneyard and thrash on it pretty hard.
That's a lot of events to choose from, looks like fun!
