We will meet at Perkins Restaurant Exit 417 off I40 East (end of ramp at traffic light turn left. next traffic light at top of hill turn left; take first left into their parking lot). After gathering (fueling if needed) we will be on our way. Travelling across I40 East in North Carolina, we'll travell down Hwy 276 all the way through to the end in South Carolina. Along the way, we'll go through some very secluded twisties before coming into Brevard. Just past Brevard will come some waterfalls and Pretty Place (if we are lucky and no one has it rented out; I'll verify before we go there).
Everyone bring a brown bag for a picnic lunch for we will eat as well as sightsee from atop Ceasar's Head. From there, complete Hwy 276 and return home.
Everyone check in if you are planning on going. GHornet mentioned some goodies :cool: If all goes well we are going to hit Caesar's Head somewhere around noonish. All told the cruise will probably be in the neighborhood of 5-6 hours long...plus or minus..
Hopefully the weather will once again be on ur side :blueangel: like it has before. If not, then there is another good excuse to polish the Vette..(like we need one :rolleyes: )

I really think we should meet at my house around 7:00, then got to Westhaven at 7:30 THEN got to KC, THEN to #417....then......... :steering: :auto: :lolg: :lolg:

I'm really :jester about meeting at my house, Westhaven, etc. of course, but if we ARE having breakfast at Perkins before we launch from #417, we need a start time from KC anyway. :seeya

After seeking consultation and guidance from Ron, he had a pretty good idea! For those who want to have breakfast we'll meet at 08:30 to eat and then blast off at 09:30ish for everyone who doesn't want to get up that early!
