RATPACKERS AND BEACHCOMBERS RESPOND
I was asked to look at SAT July 12 for a get together for the Beachcombers and the Ratpack at the Holiday Inn in Portmouth.
I have blocked the Deck overlooking the Elizabeth River exclusive for our use.We can accomodate at least 100 people.
I can block off the parking lot along the side for Corvettes..We can also do a carved Roast beef, a few side dishes and iced tea, as a group for $8.50 a person including tip. A cash bar would be available if you want alcohol.
There is more info as to things we can do but this is the main idea.
I need someone from The Ratpack and Beachcombers to contact me for your feedback, input and ideas and to look at the facility..to see if this is what you want to do.
We still have plenty of time, but wanted to get started locking this in.

This sounds great. Jack mentioned this would be coming out. It turns out I may be in VA beach Friday night and leaving Saturday so we might be able to make this. Depends on other events.

We can't go past 6pm due to other committments for deck and lounge, as well as the parking lot..

Rick isn't the most visible RATPACKER on the Forum, but he sure helps us stage some great events. He's the one who gets the credit for the awesome WATERSIDE HOOTERS thing in March( we came very close to having to turn cars away)and it sounds like he has another great event for us in July. So be sure to check in and sign in early!
