(SMC) Got Tennis!?!?
Where can a person go to play tennis? I was in the learning stages about 2 years ago and quit for a while and now wanting to start learning again. Does anyone here play? Everyone I know can't be talked into playing. :seeya

Don't listen to her! I have repeatedly tried to get her to play tennis. I even bought her a racket but to no avail. I will play against anyone as long as they play as bad as I do.

Call Knoxville Parks & Recreation and ask for the number of Tyson Park or maybe they can connect you. They teach as well as have tournaments for all levels.........and I'll play most anytime you want. I've been looking myself for someone who plays.

there is a tennis only raquet club on just off Fox Lonas Road behind the very large Catholic High School. Don't know about the fee's because i play tennis like i dance--very badly.

Hey lets set something up. I have not played for years but would love to do it again. It sounds like we can get a couple of people together. As to the "OLD" farts comment that was mentioned above, when I get back from my four night Bonarroo concert this weekend I will show you who is old. Of course you better give me a few days recuperation time first. :D
I am off on Firdays and the weekend so maybe we can do something around June 20th or 21st. Anybody in?

I haven't played in a couple of years either, so playin badly isnt an issue with me. I just like to play. Sounds like there might be a few here interested. Let's set this up for later in the evening Friday 20th or anytime Sat 21st. or Sun 22nd. As of where to play it dosn't matter to me, maybe tyson park???

How about Friday, the 20th at 6:00 pm. I like the idea of the YMCA courts. We can get hot and sweaty then go to Hooters and impress everyone with our manly scent. :eek:

SCHEDULE? What's that? :lolg: Really, I have no set schedule, but evenings are good for me....usually. Like I said, Westside YMCA is a great palce to play and usually not too crowded.....plus it's lighted for night play. Do you work in Knoxville?
