It's one of the bigger shows in Florida. Over the past few years, it's quality has dropped IMHO. It is still a nice show to checkout vettes, and Eckler's has an on site discount that day. If you get there early, you may find something at their scratch and dent sale.

On the side, if you go about an hour North, you could catch Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach.

I agree with beachcat. It's a great event, but it seems to be going downhill the last few years. I'll be there though, but Vetteless :( Wrecked mine on the way to the Ecklers show in late April or early May. Don't think I'll have it back together in time.

As far as the Show Field, Car Corral, Manufacturer's Midway, etc. are concerned I feel the Eckler's Reunion is as good as ever. In fact there seem to be more cars every year and always something new to see. The October Reunion is far and away better than the much smaller show they hold in the Spring.

But Eckler's itself is shrinking (brick and mortar wise) and that has eliminated some of the workshops, plant tours, seminars and stuff. They no longer have the auction. Their showroom is nice but is only a fraction the size it used to be in the larger building. I understand they don't manufacture most of the fiberglass parts that they used to be famous for, they no longer have a paint & body shop, etc. etc. It's not the same place it was when Ralph ran things.

But it's still a great show, always great Vettes on hand, always great to see old friends and meet new folks who love Vettes. I personally feel a certain loyalty to Ecklers for all they've done for the hobby over the years, which includes staging this show for over 20 years, so I always go up there and drop a few $$ on something and usually end up getting a pretty good deal.

I'll be there early so's to get a good parking spot because it gets pretty crowded. :chevy

We are planning on going. Nothing firm yet. Chips, the Red C5 that curised over to Marco with us was also planning on going. Plus a guy I work with(a MY C5) was considering it. We'll see how this shapes up.

I still enjoy it a lot! Mike Wilson, RJ, Cozette and the Ecklers staff do a great job with this event, IMHO.

The Vette show is great as is the various Corrals.

We will be there as usual. I wish the swap section was bigger. Last October there were only 10 or so tables set up.
All in all it is a nice show, and the 10% discount helps.
