I plan on heading up early Saturday morning. I am slightly over an hour away from north Nashville.
Hopefully I'll finally make it to an NCM event. I tried to make it for the 50th back in June but I had just finished the rebuild on Wednesday the 27th and didn't have all the bugs worked out.

Where are you guys meeting at and what time? I'm going to the Vanderbilt Observatory late tonight, so I'm not sure if I'll be awake enough to make it up there.

Rick, how would you be coming in from Clarksville? Wouldn't you just be coming up Route 41 into BG?

Rick, you need to write to savewave, Mean Grean, etc, and get your post count and member date updated from your previous aliases! Just tell them what names you've used, and they'll get you back up to snuff...
Did you guys hear about John (JR_VETTE) and his hood incident? He posted over in off topic, a truck kicked up a piece of sheet metal that landed on his hood...

If it's not a sailboat hitting me, it's flying sheet metal. :banghead:
Edit : Added pictures.
This is to the right of the first picture. Total of 4 pretty good scratches.
They don't look near as bad as they did. I took some polish and Zaino to them, and they look a lot better. I also noticed the sheet metal hit the windshield and scratched it also...argh.

Ouch! That's why I hate to drive on the highway. A few weeks ago I got nailed with a beer can on the hood on my Grandprix. Just came of nowhere.

I'm not sure if I'm going. 50%. I'm thinking about going to Atlanta for the weekend - DragonCon, the world's second-largest SciFi/Fantasy/Comic/Anime convention is at the Marriot Marquis, and ten of my good geek/nerd buddies are going.
Very few places in the world where you can share an elevator with five drunk Klingons, run from an entire platoon (40+!) of Imperial Stormtroopers, and hang out with tipsy young women in scanty attire...and tipsy older women who should never wear scanty attire, but do...:eek:
