We'd be glad to have you there! I need to check back with the coordinator of the cruise-in and see what the current update is. I'll let everyone know as soon as I hear back.

Hey, the 25th is a Saturday! I can go!

Oh, by the way, October 18th and 25th, and November 1st, 8th, and 15th, Beech Bend is having Saturday (daylight) Fun Racing.

Cool Fall air, dragstrip warmed by sun...might be a personal-best kind of season.

JR,

Hi, I'm just joining the Vette family as I am going to CA to drive back my first Vette. Been wanting to own a Vette for 25 years and have finally made the move to get one.

Do you folks have a Club & how often do you meet? I live down in Franklin and did not know if a Club was closer than the one from Nash that meets at Capital Chev each month.

Thanks Jim :hurray: : :chevy

Ther is no formal membership. Just the readers and posters to this forum. We don't have regular meetings, but try to get together once a month or every other month. Just follow the MCV threads. And come on out Oct. 25 to the Bellvue Mall cruise.

Congrats on your first Vette. :-)

MCV does not have regular meetings scheduled, but we try to get together as often as we can work it into some peoples schedules. Sometimes there will just be 2 or 3 of us go on something, and other times there are 10.

MCV will be going to the Bellevue Cruise In on the 25th, but I will not be able to attend as I will be out of town.

We are also trying to get some people together to go to Music City Raceway on the 21st or 28th. I'll probably go both days, so I can run Maggie and the Maxima.

Congrats again, and look forward to meeting you.

Hey team,

You've seen Jesse's post about the run to St. Jude's he's planning on.

Our part of the run will be Monday, December 15th.

I'd like to ask, on his behalf, for everyone who can, please start asking off from work on the 15th of December. Two months ahead of time should be enough warning for a little road trip to Memphis.

If you're already sure you'll go, send an e-mail to Jesse at corvettes4stjude@aol.com

A lot of people think that Saint Jude is a patron saint of children, but he isn't. Jude is the patron saint of lost causes. Catholics pray to Jude when things are desperate and all hope seems lost...which is sad yet ultimately hopeful when applied to his namesake hospital.

The hospital was originally founded and funded by Danny Thomas and his wife for research into terrible diseases that primarily affect children, particularly pediatric cancers.

FWIW, I have donated to the CF St. Jude fund, and plan on taking off Dec 15'th for the Nashville to Memphis leg of the journey. Hopefully there are others from Nashville that can do the same. :blueangel:

What time will the run start from Nashville, and will we be returning on Monday, or Tuesday? Need to know how many days to take off.

Now, back to this thread, are we meeting anywhere or just showing up in Bellevue?

I am planning on taking only Monday off.

I'm open for a cruise or late lunch somewhere. Anybody else up for anything before hand?

Whos going out to Music City Raceway on the 21st or 25th? If some forum folks will be up there, I'll come by. Also, I am thinking of riding up to Bowling Green on the 25th for some day racing and then coming back down to the Bellevue show. Anyone else up for some 1/4 mile action on the 25th?
