[MCV] Hot chickens!
Anybody up for a lunch at Hot Chickens one Saturday afternoon?
For those who don't know what it is, it's owned by Lori Morgan and Sammy Kershaw. Everything from what I could tell when I was there a few weeks ago was fried, but it's good! The parking is pretty good, and if we do a late lunch (1PM) parking shouldn't be a problem at all.
If anybody is up for it, we could do a morning excursion to the museum since it's more or less in the same direction.
Here are the directions to Hot Chickens (it's in Whites Creek) :
From Nashville:
Take I-24 North toward Clarksville and exit at the Old Hickory Blvd exit (Exit 40). Turn East on Old Hickory Blvd and we're next to the Super 8 Motel on the left.

Actually that's near Madison close to my office. I've never been but the girls in my staff go there sometimes. It's Whites Creek, not Whitehouse. Can't go this weekend, Heather's participating in a horse show Sat. Any other time I'll make it.

On or not, and at what time? I will be tied up until about 11:00, but I can leave straight from Williamson county. I'm guessing I can make it by 12:00.

I'm out for this weekend. I have to go find a gift for the wife (our anniversary is next week). Plus the weather is questionable for today. Let me look at my schedule. I know next Saturday is out, possibly the following one?

I'm out for October pretty much..... Going to Birmingham next weekend, another place the weekend after that, and then on vacation the next weekend.

Guess I'm gonna spend today reinstalling the supercharger on the TA. I rebuilt it myself because Vortech wanted $1500 to do it. I told them to put the parts back in a box and ship it back to me unassembled. It cost me about $300 in ordering 4 bearings and 2 seals from BDI downtown.
