[SMC] Topless gets a Checkup!
I took my vert to Dragon's Breath Performance today to get the fluids changed.
My '03 with 6400 miles on it had:
Boiled Brake Fluid
Boiled Clutch Fluid
Burned Transmission Fluid
Apparently our Dragon Run on Sept. 13 was hard on the fluids in my car!
Violater got to play with his new brake bleeding machine to drain and replace my brake fluid with a new Lockheed fluid. He also flushed my clutch fluid -- TWICE. I also had him change the transmission fluid to RedLine and change the oil. I would have had him change the diff fluid too, but the dealer has to fix the leak first!
Bob did a great job on the car. He treated it with the utmost care and made sure that everything was perfect. Even when he had to repeatedly bleed my clutch to get all of the crap out and the pressure back, he was the consummate professional.
I know that it's just my imagination, but damn if the car doesn't feel faster now!

Guess I better get out there. I know my coolant is low, but probably have other fluids to check. Surely mine aren't in as bad a shape as TOPLESS's though!

Good job. Sounds like your car was in need of a checkup. Redline is supposed to free up some HP.
