[SMC] C5/C6 Birthday Bash group?
Hello SMC,
I'd love to see that C6 in person. Haven't been able to meet up with you guys, but would like to for a day or 2 trip to BG, KY in at the end of April :cool:

I plan on going...trouble is the drag racing is on Friday at 10:30a and Autocross on Saturday. This is the opposite from what it has been. PLUS, the autocross price is $25 for what has been 3 runs in the past (not going to do it) while the drag racing is HOURS for $25 and do it as many times as you can.
So if I am drag racing, I will be leaving early Friday. If a bigger group comes together and leaves later, I might wait until Cruise In (May) for my drag racing... :D

I asked Adam Boca about accomodations for the Bash and I quote:
" I recommend Holiday Inn University Plaza. Full service, and we have a block setup. It is called “C5 Bash”. "
So I am leaning that direction....backup plan is the Hampton where we usually stay.

Holiday Inn would be fine with me. So how do you guys do the events? Do you try to make things as a group? I'd like to see some of the talks on the C6.

Since this is a two day (or so) event, we usually caravan over, then it's everyone for themselves to do the events as they wish. Sometimes we plan a specific "chat & chew" point. We ususally try to caravan home together too.

Some of the group will undoubtedly want to go to the same things that you will, but there's not much organization. When SMCers are around, just say "I want to do this" and see how many follow! :D

ETCC voted to make the Birthday Bash an event and the same for Cruise-in V so I am going to try to make both events. We are hoping to join the SMC for both events, or at least as many as want to go to either one. That means we may need a bigger meeting place for the caravan, but since so many will be leaving on different days, I am not sure how well that will work out. Any suggestions, guys?
