Well I got the job offer up in Indiana/Kentucky. I will find out sometime this week after getting a physical and all of that good stuff when I am going to start working again for living. Patsy and I will miss all of the events down and the great friends we've made through the "Pack". I'll keep an eye on this section when we get settled in up there and all. It is going to be a few hectic weeks trying to get everything done but we are looking forward to a change of scenery. We should only be about two hours from Bowling Green so even if I have to work that weekend I still might be able to squeeze in some quality time near the plant and a it should leave me some time to find a good road or two for Jack to tame!
I don't think we will be here for Hooters at waterside but they do have a great Hooters in Evansville and my new boss enjoys the "Food" there.
A funny side note, one of the other crew leaders has a GS also. Not sure of the number but it was pretty bizare to find that out.
I hope to see everyone on the 21st for some Kart Action.

Well Jack, eating can always happen anytime!! I hope we have a big enough house and enough land in Kentucky to accomodate all the new play toys.
Congratulations and good luck Leo. Hate to see ya go. You are one of our oldest Pack members and a really good guy. Now by old, I mean tenure wise. I think we all know who takes the trophy for the "oldest" pack member. But we won't mention any names here......... :D

 Jo Anne's youngest son turned thirty five yesterday! I guess that makes her the oldest Ratpacker
Thanks Dave. I hate to leave all the good friends we've made over all of the cruises behind but the new job and location look very promising. It will be nice to sit in a five minute traffic jam instead of the 30 or 40 minute ones we have over here.
I will miss the "Triple" digit runs on the old country roads with our fearless leader Jack in front taking those last minute turns. Those gravel roads were a special interest treat!!
I hope to make one last outing maybe the Go Karts in Richmond before we leave the area.
Leo
Ron,
It is only 12.5 hours from Evansville to Virginia Beach. I've driven it four times in the Impala now. UGH!! I think Front Royal is going to be a little further and I don't think the wife would let me run out on the new house about then. I might even be working overtime then, who knows. I can always try to make it though.

 Leo
I your memory :D , I went out this AM and did three 0 to "triples" runs on route 601 and a spirited run down 109 :D
You better find some good roads where you are going, we are all going to be up there to see you at Cruise in V
Sorry to see you leaving the area Leo, but I'm glad you landed a job to your likeing. We've got friends in Louisville that we visit and now when I have to go to Mecca (St. Louis) I make them rent me a car and drive out. Sooo don't be to surprised if I show up on the porch one day! Try and get down to BG, we'll be at the usual place!
I'll try Billy. If we settle in the area we are looking at it will only be about two hours from BG. Henderson and Evansville are only about 2.5 hours from Louisville. We'll stay in touch and welcome all "RatPackers" to the porch!
Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
Hope it all works out like ya plan, its a small world though :D
Safe driving and get in good with the local man
Leave a patch for me
