[RECAP] Spring Skyline 2004

I'd like to give a special thanks to Tim Frees of Jack Evens Chevy, Iron 82 for helping out assembling the goody bags and parking, (we got 96 cars on the lot after the manager said there was room for 80...), JackDaRoofer for leading us out and about, Donnie & Judy for parking and carrying goody bag stuff to the event for us, Tony for helping with parking and planning, Chuck for helping with planning (get better quick Chuck!), and especially, Linda for doing pretty much all the things that I forgot to do and then some... I probably missed a few and I apologize in advance. This event has taken on a new life recently and it's just getting bigger and bigger. Of course, it wouldn't be an event at all without the participants so give yourselves a pat on the back!
The "official" count was 100 Corvettes and two "chase cars". From what I can tell, we all had a pretty good time. I'd like some feedback on the different cruise route and lunch stop. BTW, I honestly thought the restrooms were (both) open at Stony Man...

So, give me some feedback on the cruise and don't hold anything back!
Fall Skyline is October 30. See you then!
The best part was the expressions on the faces of other drivers as the line of 100 went by. I saw a few that were trying to get out on the road or turn off that were looking a little perturbed tho! Oh well, they should buy a Vette.....
Thanks for putting this together. I will be back in the fall. Let's get 200!!!!!!

As always it is great to see everyone, and finally put faces with my new friends! SOmeone mentioned my exhaust was a touch loud - hope it did not offend
All in all--a great time!! :yesnod:
You, and yours, did a great job again
Thanks

This was my first, but DEFINITELY not my last Skyline cruise!!! GREAT JOB, and thanks for all your efforts, along with everyone else involved. The route was great, as was lunch. And I think the lawn parking of all those Vettes in front of that beautiful inn made a perfect setting for a picture. Too bad my camera couldn't get them all in. Need a wider angle lens. If we do the same in October, I'll bring my 35mm camera with the wide-angle lens along with the digital cam.
Anybody else out there able to get a full pic of that? I'd LOVE to get a copy if you do.
Again, great job!
Also, I'd like to thank the Ratpack for graciously agreeing to let me tag along from Horne's Restaurant. It was great cruising with you. And with EVERYBODY out there!
