Header Wars
Do we have a definitive answer to what is the best header for a C5. I have 2000 Conv, with 17,000 miles. I currently have Cyclone induction (note, I watched a ZO6 pure stock dyno at 325 and then 362 with the Cyclone induction.) I also have a silicone coupler with a mass air sensor and ported and polished throttle body from Corvette Concepts along with Jakes shifter mod. I added a ZO6 405 HP CAM and Intake along with Corsa X-Pipe and Borla Stingers. ( Note, we added the Borlas to that ZO6 and brought the RWHP up to 376.) Jeromy Formato computer tuned the car and we got 352.5 to the rear wheels. I added Bosch Platinum plus plugs and brought the rear wheel HP up to 356.5. We tried out one of those $300.00 carbon fiber air bridges and lost 1 HP.
I have Random Tech free flow cats and X-Pipe ready to install and want the best headers.
