Well, I have been debating on keeping my C4 or selling it and trying to get a C5. After dinner last night, my wife, little girl and I went with some friends down to a local Auto Locator lot. My boss was looking at a boat they had.
Then I saw it, , not my first pic in color and I wasn't really interested in convertables. But I fell in love with this Millenium Yellow convertable C5. The door was unlocked, so I got to check out the interior and sit in it. WOW......I really want this car. The lot was closed, or I swear I would have took a test drive. Not sure of the year, it had the HUD, so it had to be an 02 or newer, right?
Anyway, I am detailing out the C4 today and putting it up for sale, hopefully by this time next year I will have my C5, maybe even a Yellow Drop-Top
Re: The decison has been Made !!! (Tennessee Outlaw)
When the early C4's came out, Liz and I got one and loved it. Later on when she bought a '94, I was more into Jeep Wranglers because they were "easier to get into".
When she had me sit and test drive a C5....I basically gave our college student daughter the Wrangler and started collecting C5's . The ride was SO much improved for me and the handling was great.
Now I have the Corvette fever again and NOT looking for a remedy. I think once you actually drive it, you'll love it. And I think MY vert is one of the BEST looking vettes out there.
Re: The decison has been Made !!! (Tennessee Outlaw)
Roband (Bob and Andy) and us just updated from C4 to C5. Believe me you will be glad you did. Much better ride. There is no comparison. And easier to get in and out of and roomier.
Go for it. You can't drive one when you are dead!
