Some of you may remember that I curbed one of my HRE wheels over Memorial Day weekend at the Cruise In. I just had a mobile service come out to the house this morning & fix the wheel without dismounting the tire. Both Martha & I looked at it & we can't see any evidence that the wheel was ever curbed! Anyhow HRE wanted $450 for a new outer lip. There was an overnight service here through my local garage that wanted $175. The service I used was below $100! The service is available for Charlotte, Rock Hill, Hickory, Concord, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Durham & Cary.

PM me if you want the refinisher's name & number...
I highly recommend him...

A guy named Mickey? Prince? This guy fixed a curbed wheel on a brand new Porsche the other day for one of our exec's and did a great job.

Whether it's the same guy or not...

Sassi has been waiting on a torque converter that was custom built for her then shipped to the wrong person. Violater is waiting for it to come back but once it does the car can be put together & Interceptor430 & I will drive up to TN to get her & take her over to Boner's shop.

Its amazing Ken you can't even tell where it was curbed. The outer lip was bent slightly too & Steve popped it back into place with a 2 x 4 & a hammer. I'm really impressed.
