I never knew Jack's weather control even extended to Hurricanes I hit rain whenever I was greater than 50 miles from Jack on the way there and back but had to use sunglasses at the Lake
Great turn out and good to see and meet so many from outside the usual Ratpack stomping grounds
Had fun on the drive up. Wish I could have hung around longer.
Next..................Carlisle. I gotta find out who's leaving when. Looks like I'm on my own Saturday morning as of right now.

In answer to your e mail about how you become a "ratpacker"?
It's strictly a "state of mind "
If you think you are, you are!
Just keep an eye out for posts here and the e mails.
Jack, I had a great time. My first of many future Corvette events. Those back-roads on the trip up there were great! Looking in my rear-view mirror and seeing 15 corvettes winding through the hills behind me while trying to negotiate the next turn was a rush! Some guys and gals really have some nice corvettes. I had about 20 favorites I must admit but that yellow Z06 that drove up from the BurgerKing was an all time Bad Azz. I had a sweet spot for that 1975 red vette too. Every one of them showed the pride of the owners and I have to admit I'm completely hooked. Can't wait for the next event. Thanks again, Al & Kat

Hey, it was fun!
Glad too finally get together with some Northern Virginia folks!
Y'all come down and support our Waterside thing every March, so it was the least we coud do to head up your way!
I am hoping to make this a late summer, early fall event on an annual basis!
The Park is a wonderfull setting and with boat rides, swimming and other things, provides a lot to do
