Brandt, we are also gone (in Charleston with our sons) from Aug. 4 thru Aug. 18. We're also out this Thursday thru next Monday in Connecticut. We too will miss Supervette Sat. Again, the canyon park would be a great place for a cruise and picnic...if you can figure out a date that works.

We're gone the weekends of August 4 and August 18. How about Saturday, August 25th? Does that work for everyone?

Regrettably, we won't be able to join you guys on the 25th. Next time, hopefully. Let's schedule something else soon!

Oh man....I'm leaving for Louisiana on the 25th and I'm dyin for a drive in the mountains.

Other poosible roads: 53 or 136 east of 575 are great road. Especially 136, with a couple of nice road side vantage points along the way. Could go to Amicalola Lodge for lunch.

I am interested, but as for availability,
I won't know until closer to the dates.
I have a 4 year old and a 7 month old boys
to contend with. If it works out I am looking forward to meeting some of the local
vette owners.

So, are we wanting to do the run throught the mountains, or a big get together, and have a cookout? I'll volunteer my place if it is to be a BBQ.

I might be able to do July 21st. It depends if I get back from New Mexico Friday night or Saturday afternoon. Sunday, July 22nd definitely works though.

Brandt, a BBQ sounds just fine, if that's what everyone wants. Truthfully though, I want to do some driving

Hey is anyone going out to Maxie Price on August 12th?

Since I sometimes cruise with you Hotlanta folks, maybe you'd allow me and ms.savewave to participate. We'll try to hook up with you if the dates work for us.

We're clear 7/28-29; 8/4-5; 8/26. CGCC show is 8/11; Maxie Price gathering is 8/12; 8/30-9/3 is the NCM anniversary event.

What's the score with you, BK?!?! You invited me to come to the CGCC show and have dinner with you and Libby afterwards and you aren't going to be in town?!?!?!

I've camped at Cloudland Canyon State Park and it is a lovely place. The hike to the falls is moderately strenuous, but pretty. We were last there several years ago only to find that a group of maybe 100 Kluxers had reserved a pavilion for a picnic/family day!

Jim,
Sorry, but this is the only time that Libby had a chance to take me up north to visit her grandparents and her dad. I have never met them, and am looking forward to it. Sorry.

Yeah, I'm up for a driving/eating thing. The 21st doesn't work for me, I'll be in Savannah. Wife is out of town the 28th, so that would be OK. August 25th works. Probably will miss the MP event (Savannah again).
