Well good, BK. I've heard of clubs judging their own cars in shows they sponsor and it has a tendency to tick non-members off when that happens.
Jim,
You are exactly right. That is why we have NOT judged our cars the past few years. They will not be judged with everyone else this year either. I was not at the last meeting and probably should not be talking about something I am not 100% sure of but I think we will do something among just Classic Glass members.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. We should have a great time. :yesnod:
I assume most Classic Glass members will have on club shirts.I will. Just ask around and we will
get together.
Loudest Corvette Contest? Sounds very cool!
Maybe we should try that at our vette show tomorrow. I have a really nice leather vette bag I could guve to the winner. Sounds like to great of an idea not to steal! Would love to see a flame thrower contest too! But...
My wife & I enjoyed the show. There were definately some nice cars and folks. Got to see my first '02 Z06!
All though, I have to admit the "loudest Vette" contest caught us off card....man those baby's were loud!
All in all we had a great time.
Steven :yesnod:
Steve,
Glad you and your wife had a good time. I hope everyone did.
We counted 115 cars participating today. It was a good turnout and some fabulous cars.
I sure was glad the rain held off until we were all cleaned up.
Thanks to everyone.
I hope to post some photos on the Classic Glass web site in a few days.
Yea, the loudest car contest was a new thing this year. It was a lot of fun.
I hope we got a few seconds of TV time on Fox5.
Has anyone seen anything?
Hope to see some of the same smiling faces Sun in Loganville.
It was spitting rain, when I left Calhoun. So, I drove a rented
Chevy Metro to the show  LOTS of nice cars and the overcast kept things cooler than previous years. Did anyone price the white fuelie that was for sale on the trailer ? I taped it and didn't pay any attention until I got home and watched the video.
Kudzu,
I made it about 2:00, stayed through the auction and drawing. I regret I did not get to meet you. It seemed most of the Classic Glass members were busy with all the activities and since my time was short, I wandered through the great Vettes on display rather than taking everyone away from all that needed to be done. Hey, that loudest Vette contest could blow some ears.
Thank you for the invitation. I hope to meet all of you soon.

VetteLuv,
Glad you made it and had a good time. We will meet sometime in the future I am sure.
Yea, the "loudest Vette" contest was a lot of fun. This was the first year we tried it. I am pretty sure we will do it again.
Maxie Price did it Sun at their show. (copy cats ) As luck would have it, Jewel, our President, won the contest at MP. Go figure!
Hey, I asked Jewel if it would be okay to copy her. After all, imitation is the sincerest form of flatery. And Jewel got a very nice leather corvette bag for letting us copy! :D We had a great time. Thanks again for everyone's support. I feel like the show was a great success. Next year's show will be tied in with our new dealership's grand opening. Let me know what you want to see at next year's show. I'll have pictures up soon. I'll let you know when and where!
Deslok,
Thanks for the photos. The Best of Show winner was awsome. :yesnod:
I have started editing the 225 frames I shot. Got them down to around a hundred, then to around 50.
I should be close to getting them up on the club web site. Work does get in the way sometimes. :yesnod:
Got a few of the first pictures from the show up. I put some on my forum page, just click on the maxie price chevrolet corvette club link. Warning...those pics are very big and will take forever to load without a fast connection. I'm working on the sizes. For slower connections, try the club webpgae at http://mpccc.homestead.com/index.html. Will be adding more pictures plus who won trophies tomorrow.
