Guys, how about we plan a MCV gathering before the end of the season. We could attend the Bellvure Cruise-In or some other activity. Winter will be here soon. Be good to get all the Vettes together again.
Chris
I'm in desperate need of a Beach Bend trip, but I just don't know when I'm going to be able to get it in. The 16th is Cathdoc's BBQ, and the 22-23rd is the highspeed autocross back in Knoxville. That leaves Halloween weekend, which I'm sure everyone with kids is tied up.
I am going to plan on attending the Bellvue cruise in on the 16th then. Maybe some others can make it out too. Beech Bend has Sat DAY racing 12:00-4:00 on Oct 16,23,30 Nov 6,13,20. I am up for going anytime. I might go racing the 16th then head to the cruise in. Who else is in?
And what is this new part? Tell more.

Sounds good to me for the 16th.
We could meet at the KMart on Long Hollow Pike? Pick a time.
As far as the new part goes, well I paid a visit to Dynotech Engineering on my way to North Dakota and bought one of those rearends they are selling.
On street tires, you only need to clean them off. Avoid as much of the water box as possible (hard to do at Beach Bend). So just dump the clutch for a couple seconds, let'er walk a bit towards the line, then shut her down.
It is the last exit on the North side of Nashville.
It is real easy to find, just keep going North on 65 when you go past
the exit for Rivergate Mall and 2 mile parkway the next exit is Long Hollow Pike. The KMart is right there at the exit too.
Use your Jarhead survivial skills and you will be fine.
