Default Tennessee here I come

Thats Right, effective December 1, 2004 I will be transferring to the General Motors Plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The decision was not easy but it was an opportunity that I could not pass up. The logistics of the move along with my upcoming surgery next month was the #1 reason I had to stop racing when I did. I will however continue to spend time here on the forum promoting all the Corvette Challenge series and giving Edgar some heartburn to keep the series growing and headed in the right direction.
I'm looking foward to my time in the southeast.

The only trouble is, you will be at least 100 miles from the closest quarter-mile dragstrip!

Welcome, neighbor!

True, but you are also only 100 miles away from the museum and corvette plant and the site of some great car shows during the summer. Welcome!

I looked at going to the Corvette Plant but for some reason the stock holders felt it would be best if I didn't

John, I'm glad to have you coming down. I'll be a couple hours east of you but I'm sure we'll eventually meet up. I hope you're not giving up on racing alltogether though. If only you could bring Frank (Mojo) down here with you.......nah, maybe not. State aint big enough for both our ego's. We'll have to have some kind of welcome party for you.

Thanks, no I'll race again someday but for now racing is on the back burner. Fankie, has already told me that now I've got NO EXCUSE for not going to the cruise in next year. I'm looking foward to my next few years in Tennessee.

Hey..welcome! We moved here from upstate NY nine years ago.....we love it. Over here in East Tennessee we have the Smoky's, beautiful scenery, mild weather, great folks....oh, and NO state personal income taxes!

Maybe you will get to some or our East Tenn Corvette Club events.
