Help with C5 Headlight
Hi Everyone,
I got a citation today for my stupid headlight that won't go up because the gear is destroyed. I have the new gear but unfortunately the majority of my tools are up in Boston and I am in Deerfield Beach, FL. Since I don't have the proper tools nor do I really understand what I am to take apart even though its been explained to me a number of times, I was hoping that someone close to my area could give me a hand with this. If anyone has any time in the next 30 days and wants to help me, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it.

I found the link, however I'm unsure of how the actual headlight unit came out of the car, you took off the black plastic trim around the headlight I assume, and did you need to take off the top body colored piece? After this, you just undid the bolts holding it in at the back and sides and pulled the whole unit out?

yeah pretty much...the top piece is not critical but it does make it easier...unbolt the assy and pull it forward and up..
