4th Annual Waterside Hooters Stop
She is very excited to help us and said she has corporate people with Hooters who will give us T- shirts , have Hooters girls out there selling raffle tickets, or anything we want her to do..
I have worked with her the past 3 years putting on an Elvis Show with a professional impersonator and she had the Hooters girls there as well.
I sat with Portsmouth Mayor Holly and his wife last night at a fund raiser and he said he will set up a meeting with Norfolk Mayor Fraim whenever I want. to make this as big as we want to make it..
I will post this on the forum to see what you and the others might want to do..
We still have plenty of time, but wanted to see how big you wanted to make it and get others ideas about it..
Stay safe
Rick

Great job!
As you are well aware from your years of successful experience in the Public Sector, consistency is one of the most important keys to a successful and repeatable annual event!
Consistency of date and location are very important. A few years ago, the very successfull Corvette Forum Cruise In was almost changed from Memorial Day weekend to some weekend in October...the event almost died!
The very successful Spring and Fall Skyline Cruises are always held on the last weekend in April and October and, obviously always held on the Skyline drive! This past fall, in spite of somewhat limited publicity, a record number of cars showed up. Largely because people anticipated the date and the location
Our Waterside event has, since inception, been held annually on the last weekend in March and obviously at Waterside.
People sort of mark their mental calenders for these things. The last weekend in March marks the beginning of Spring, more or less, in this area. And you can't beat the Waterside facility for the Vette ambiance it provides
The idea of hooking up with a charity is outstanding, especially if we can use it to leverage Norfolk into giving us more space at Waterside
Thanks
Jack
