Default (SMC) ill trade ya...

ill tell you how im doing if you tell me how you are all doing... i am good... the job is almost identical to my old job ... but with a lot more micromanagement, politics, and backstabbing... but its a paycheck.. albuquerque is fine but its crowded about twice the size of knoxville but with 5 times as many people... this is also the mustang capital of the planet i kid you not.... have even seen a couple eleanores out here but many many 03+ cobras, and saleens... so its a gunfight everytime i hit the road.... gotta save up and get the violator to cut me a cam and set up some heads for great white since about every pony out here has at least a blower on... there is also a full quarter mile track out here so there are a lot of race cars in town as well but its funny here too because we are over 5k feet and the times seem slow to me... but i have to remember that they are about 1sec off sea lvl... hehe also if you ask someone about their RWHP they always give the SAE corrected amount... for example my car here is making 263 RWHP but SAE corrected it makes 311 RWHP ... also they only have 91 octane fuel here and i have to avoid certain gas stations as they for the winter season include some additive in the gas that makes my car not wanna start...also found an excellent mechanic... not quite as talented as bob... but a great guy and he certainly has the hook ups here in town... everybody who is anybody with a vette in this town comes to see him so i am lucky to have met him... well thats about it i guess... any questions may be directed to the brickwall on your right hehe j/k... also the albuquerque vette clubs dont do the forum very much so i will be lurking the SE... fair warning guys hehe and now that i am getting the swing of my new job i suspect you will be seeing a lot more of me posting... hope this post finds you all well

Tell me more about ALQ. I'm thinking about relocating to Las Cruces in the not-so-near future.

Good to hear everything is going good for you. I'm sure you are up to the challenge of taking care of those Mustangs . Talk to you later.

Good to here from you Bro. Wish I could have seen you before you made the run to NM. Are you going to be out there permanently are is there a chance you might pop back out here? It's good to hear that everything is going fine for you out there. Be safe out there and keep the Mustangs at bay! Stay in touch!

It's good to hear from you, Jack.

You know you're welcome to hang in SE all you like, you'll always be one of us, SE and SMC.

I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying the new job. All jobs have their little quirks, it's how you handle them that determines how well you will do.

Don't worry about the mustangs. No matter how fast they are, they're still mustangs. But the Eleanors are cool.

Not much has changed around here. Chuck and Dr. Evil are back, that's good. We're getting together with Chuck at Hooters on Monday night. Whether Vertago shows up or not.

Snide's in town for a while. I got to see him a few weeks ago, he's a good guy, you'd like him.

The weather's getting colder, the leaves are changing color, many have already fallen off the trees. We had a gorgeous sunset Wednesday before the weather moved in on Thursday. It's supposed to clear up today and be sunny until Thursday or so.

Not much else happening here. It's good to hear from you, keep in touch.

I used to travel out there on business all the time. Las Cruces? Lets just say it's the "lowrider" capital of the world. Trailer trash meets Cheech and Chong.
I liked ALQ. The best mexican (well, texacan) food I ever had was at a resteraunt on the West side of town - Sophie's I think it was called. Check it out, when they give you a choice of red or green take green. Trust me. The only problem about ALQ, and this may not be politically correct but was described to me by many residents, but if you are white you are considered low man in the racial ranks behind hispanics and american-indians. Not that those things should be ranked at all.

I here ya. I used to live in SoCal and now it's the same in Miami (except in Miami you don't get shot/knifed for wearing the wrong colors or "eyeballing" someone). I love Latin women!

Just looking for a warm place to live where I can buy a small ranch (no neighbors) and still have a supply of pretty young things (University of NM?). ALQ is too big, with big-city problems from what I've read.

Losers (of all economic classes) & white trash are becoming epedemic in SoFLA. Time to
