Donavan, Jed or anyone else know of a good alignment shop? Need to add some Cambe, Toe and Caster in the car before the next race, so does anyone know of a good reliable shop?

Robert does all of mine over in Belmont. I really don't know if he can get your car on their rack. He had to take my SC plumbing off and the outside skirts for the lasers to line up and I'm a solid inch/inch and half taller than you.

Call up at Carroll's alignment. They're uptown off Tryon... either that or Laci's alignment.

Both don't screw around. If I can't fix it and have a problem, that's where I go. (yes, believe it or not, sometimes I can't even fix stuff...lol)

When we find a good shop, lets see if we can set up a club discount. Just a thought.

BTW, our club meeting is the 4th. Any thoughts on how to make the auto-X and the meeting work out?

What alignment did you end up going with...and were there any tradeoff on the street?

Just curious as the price sounds like fronts only. Just trying to protect ya. Oh, I forgot that book you offered to me.

Any word from Randy? Do you think his "commander" will let him out for the Anderson Auto-cross?

Rick, you'll have to ask Donovan for the specs. I haven't noticed any tradeoff on the street. With more camber and toe in, straight line traction may be affected a little.

As far as I know, Randy still hasn't tuned his car!!! I might have the turbo on the Is before he has his tuned

Did he give you the Z06 setting (This is what I've been using as well). I cannot recall the setting either but I beleive they were similar to this:

Front
Camber -.70
Toe - Neutral
Caster - 2 degrees

Rear
Camber - .50
Toe - Neutral

I was looking to go pretty aggressive since I'm gettin the T-1 bars and VRP Graphite Poly bushing. Looking at something like:

Front
Camber -1.3
Toe Neutral to 1/16th out
Caster 6 degrees to Max

Rear
Camber - -1.0
Toe 1/16th to 1/8 in

BTW: How much of a difference did the T-1 bars make?

I use Auto Aimers at 10000 Albemarle Rd. 704-573-8626
Steves shop looks like a hole in the wall but he has a new top of the line alignment machine. Getting your car on the lift should be no problem he has some 2x12 boards he uses for lower cars.

Defineatly go with the more aggressive setting. Mine is setup just a little bit more aggressive then stock and after 7,000 miles the tires are wearing even.

Do you recall what your current settings are? Any downside to your current and the stock..ie, car tracking, stright line stability?

My settings are a "little" more aggressive than a stock Z. If you are getting the T1s----hold on brother. You will definately be boucing down the road. As stiff as that sucker will be, you should really look into a set of racing tires to hold it where you're aiming it. Let me know how much the bushing swap install runs you $ wise. It's a long and dirty process. When me and Robert did mine, we looked like coalminers after burning them out with an acytelline torch!!!

IM Dash for the same settings I have.

Jed..sent you a pm so I can get in touch with your contact on the SRT-4 springs/alignment.

Also just got another pulley from LPE and am calling Nick to get it installed along with a couple of other small items and then off to More or CAM for the tune...finally.

Not this weekend. Maybe starting next weekend or the one after going forward. Trying to get springs put on another car and hopefully Nick will have the Z this weekend.

I've got to get my Z to pass inspection...the State sent me a nice little letter. Now is when I wish it was registered in South Carolina.

Randy, if I go to the autox Sat, Robert is going with me so he can't do the springs this weekend either.

The turbo is on order baby. I feel for your SRT4
