If anyone is off work Monday (we are) and feel like drinking Sunday night, I plan to be at the Beer Seller after the Colts win. It's 2 for 1 night and the place usually gets a pretty good crowd.

You can drink on Sunday nights in Nashville? Heavens to Betsy!

***

Let's shop around for restaurants. For one thing, it's hard on a Corvette, trying to ease into and out of that parking lot at Logan's in Antioch!

Where is everybody, exactly? We can plot coordinates on a grid and come up with a spot that's exactly the same distance from everyone! Given our current distribution, that would probably be in Fairview..

Hahaha, sounds like a plan to me. Where would you guys like to go next time? Had a great time Friday night, but yeah, the parking was pretty bad.

As for where the next meeting location is, everyone is all over town, from Hendersonville to Columbia. Downtown is probably the center point, but the problem is the parking sucks.

I think everyone needs to come up with a few possibilities on their side of town. The only areas I really know are Nashville and South of Nashville (Brentwood, Cool Springs, Bellevue, Brentwood, etc..)

Here are my ideas :

Rafferties at 100 Oaks - There is a empty parking like right next door... Food is ok, beer is cold.

Jonathans at Cool Springs or Bellevue have pretty good parking.

Sportsmans Grille at Cool Springs has good parking, and Gerst Beer on draft - Also good parking.

That's all the places I can come up with on this side of town. My preference on this side of town is the Sportsmans Grille. The food is OK, typical bar food.

Ok, someone else come up with some ideas...

I second the Sportsman grille. Good food and great parking.
Jonathans parking lot gets real crowded at night.
100 Oaks is going gangsta. Not sure I would leave the Vette parked there.

That's for sure. Hard just to find a place to park. Next time I'll bring the Wrangler and park on the hill.

Jonathans at Cool Springs or Bellevue have pretty good parking. Cool Spring is ok with me, Bellevue is as far away as Anitoch.

I'm ok to almost anyplace (so long as they sell Captain Morgans), and would think that we should rotate. One time in the Cool Springs area, one time north of Nashville, one time in the Antioch area, one itme in MI, etc.

Downtown I'd recommend the Flying Saucer. Nice big open interior, huge controlled access parking lot below Union Station. Only $2 if you validate inside. Not too touristy. Cute waitresses. Hot clientele. 100s of beer, and even Captian Morgan.

How do you *get* to the parking below Union Station? I've been to the parking lot behind the Frist Center, and the Saucer was just a wee bit downhill to the left...

I don't go downtown much. Them folks is skeery.

Flying saucer is a lot of fun. Great place to uh....sight see. The parking is big and nice below. I can't remember though how steep the ramp was on the bottom.

Any place is fine with me.

You go on past the Flying Saucer and there is a ramp off to the left if you are facing the front door of the place. It's kind of hidden.

Enough talk already. I'll throw out a plan, you guys tear it apart. We start meeting either the 2nd Friday night or 2nd Sat night of the month. So the next one would be Feb 11th or 12th. We will rotate locations in this order: Antioch, Cool Springs, Bellevue, north Nashville (Hendersonville), M'boro, etc. We can just keep trying various restrauants.

I vote for Sat Feb 12th at Sportsman Grill.
Thoughts, questions, comments.
