Okay, I'm registered. What a CF that was (and I DON'T mean Corvette Forum!) SCCA seems like what a sanctioning body would be like if it were run by the government.... Reminds me of why I always ran outlaw tracks in the old days. I damn near registered in the stock class just for the hell of it. Oh well, I'm sure it'll be fun in spite of it all. NOW, does anyone know if my '85 Snell approved helmet and my 5 point harness of similar vintage will be legal? Do I need an extinguisher, etc.?

Most usually require a Snell 95 to a SA 2000 helmet. NCCC requires a fire extinguisher but not sure about SCCA.

Not sure about the extinguisher--I know NCCC requires on. As for your class, I know your rotors would put you with me and Dick (I mean Rick)--they are very "touchy" about slotted rotors for some reason in NCCC.

Not to worry about the "dinosaurs" (C4s)--Brett will show you what one can do

Randy, just run your car once. It's not often that these are so close to home

If the Steelers make it to the big game, I may be on this day!!!

Here is the Adobe version of the SCCA National Rule Book. It lists the Helmet Qualifications:

Look at all the qualifications in the Rule Book linked above, it will tell you in very great detail exctly what class you will be running in.

Do want to warn you though if you miss more that 8 cones on one run then you have to wear this special shirt.....and the $hit talking begins...I can only hope the race will be half as fun.

BTW: Deos anyone know what time this is supposed to be over with on Sunday?

So I'm guessing maybe street prepared wasn't the best guess for my car? Should I change it to modified or just let them do it there. Oh well, wouldn't be the first time I ever had a tech official shaking their head....

I signed-UP myself and SHE-THAT-SHALL-BE-OBEYED last night, as of now she is planning on running BSP with the guys. If the Doc OK's the shifting with the arm we will be there.

I haven't driven the car since Oct. so this will be the test for the NCCC season, which, by the way, starts in March.

We have started planning our (CAT) events for the 4th of July, I will post more in the next several weeks.

What ever the local store has in low stick shelf paper. White seems to work well with polo. I could always get some pink for you to go with the automatic....

My, aren't we full of ourselves today.... Automatics have their place too, like for dusting elderly Andretti wanna-bees who think they can drive a stick! White will be fine, I wouldn't want to make this too hard on you.

Pink for the A4s huh I heard that comment somebody made at QS&L, but I was on my best behavior Make sure you can outrun the A4 before you start to blast them

Tom I'd like a 2 in black about the size that will fit on the car just behind the front window. What is he charging for the #s?

Hope the weather holds out
